I would like to thank the 18 people who joined us last Tuesday when we introduced Chad Knipfer, our new director, to the chorus. Chad spent 30 minutes with each section to provide his thoughts and to answer questions that you might have. Thank you, Chad, for taking the time for us to get to know you and for your insight as we move forward.
This week we will be holding an in-person rehearsal on Tuesday, February 16 at 6:30 PM for approximately 1 hour. The place will be in the gymnasium at my work (Linn County Public Health Building) 1020 6th Street SE, Cedar Rapids. [For those of you who use 1-380 to come to the Scottish Rite Temple, just continue SE on 7th Street to the parking lot at the building.] Park in the lot and come into the building at the double doors. Everyone will be required to take their temperature before entering the gym. I will have chairs posted around the room so that we can maintain social distancing. You will need to wear a mask the entire time.
Plan on singing a couple of Polecats and a tag or two. The Polecats will be

Bring your chorus music with you in case we sing other repertoire songs. If you have the page that had all the tags I handed out, please bring the paper with you. I will also have some additional copies. Chad will be selecting the tags for us to sing.
