Jobs well done
Thank you to the chorus and director John Hayden for a good singout Thursday evening at the Tribute to Heroes dinner. The chorus opened the Freedom Festival Activities with the National Anthem and then entertained the crowd with three other rep songs. Carissa Johnson, organizer of the event, wrote her appreciation, “Thank you again for a wonderful performance last night! It was absolutely amazing! Gave me chills.”
Thanks also to Bill Moss for making the arrangements for those who wanted to enjoy the dinner as well as perform.
Thank you also to Aged2Perfection for again providing music for the New Citizens Ceremony last Friday, and to Bob Kerdus for directing. Members performing were Garth Beatty, Ray Smith, Cal Birkey, Tom Read, Wendell Aldrich, Scott Wilcox, Larry Aspleaf, Tom Zuber, Bill Moss, and Bob Handley.
And finally, thanks to Ray Smith for making all the arrangements and to all who helped him to rent out our risers for a recent event at the U.S. Cellular Center.
