Gospel Concert final report

Alan Hellstrom of the Salvation Army accepts a donation check from the Harmony Hawks Gospel Concert Chair, Wendell Aldrich yesterday. This years concert’s free-will offering raised a net donation of $1,606.74 for the SA who has been our designated charity for the past few years.

After all expenses were paid, the Gospel Concert netted $1606.74. Last Friday, Wendell Aldrich, gospel concert committee chair, and chorus president Gary Lindsay presented a check to Alan Hellstrom.

The Best of Cedar Rapids Gospel Concert is one of our chorus’s signature events. In addition for the money it raises for charity, it brings together many talented musical individuals and groups who can help spread the word about our chorus. We should be proud of the work of our chorus and thankful to the committee who’s work makes this event possible.
